11 years ago today, I shot my favourite live image ever.
It remains so today. The combination of the crowd going mental and the unusual position I'd found myself in, able to shoot Ryan, who was luckily facing me (due to the mic spinning around, some weird fluke of luck) and the fans together, makes for a compelling shot.
The Cribs live at the 100 Club, 17th April 2013 a gig sponsored by Converse - was one hell of a show.. It was probably the best I’d ever seen them, and I shot my favourite live photo ever. What most people won’t know is that I had two people editing as I was shooting, and these pics were then broadcast live to Oxford St and Tottenham Crt Rd tube stations. Unfortunately, I never got to see what that looked like, but it’s still pretty cool.
