George Ezra

Way back when George hadn’t released any music yet but had just gotten signed, I was commissioned to shoot his first promo images. At the time, no one knew quite what a pop legend he’d turn out to be, and my brief wasn’t really in line with how the label would go on to promote him in the future. I was asked to bring a Tom Waits edge to the feel of the images. We shot around Bristol, and the last couple of pics were taken in the Gallimaufry bar, where George had a residency for a while, and a music video was being shot, although I don’t know if it ended up being released!
